My experience with Huxley Surveyors more than met expectations. Mathew did our Level 3 pre-purchase survey of a flat in a Grade II listed property in Hove. His very extensive report was well presented, and upon receipt Mat proactively suggested a follow up phone call to clarify any points in the report and to answer any questions. All in all, a good experience. I can highly recommend Huxley Surveyors.

From start to finish, our experience with Huxleys was excellent. The entire team were professional, approachable, and extremely thorough throughout the process.

During our initial phone call, Megan took the time to genuinely listen to our concerns regarding the property and ensured we felt supported from the outset. Due to the issues we had raised, Huxley arranged a pre-survey call with the surveyor, which gave us the opportunity to discuss everything in detail beforehand. This immediately gave us confidence that our concerns were being taken seriously.

The survey itself was exceptionally detailed and comprehensive, leaving no stone unturned. The report was clear, well-structured, and easy to understand, highlighting both major concerns and smaller issues that could have easily been overlooked.

Following the report, we had a follow-up call with Mat, who took the time to carefully explain the findings and answer all of our questions. He was patient, knowledgeable, and reassuring throughout, breaking everything down in a way that was easy to understand without ever feeling rushed.

Thanks to the thoroughness of the survey and the guidance provided by the team, we were able to approach the seller with confidence and ensure the appropriate remedial works were addressed before moving forward with the purchase.

I was very pleased with the Home Buyers survey carried out by Mathew Gonzalez at Huxley. It was very thorough and proved helpful as a document to refer to after the house purchase for works that needed doing. Mathew was also very responsive to questions and clarification on the survey report, both before deciding on the house purchase and also after I had moved in when I had some worries about issues in the house that had been mentioned in the report.

I had an excellent experience with Huxley Chartered Surveyor. In particular, my surveyor was Mat Gonzalez - his report was very thorough but more than that, his follow up and responsiveness to all my questions was incredibly helpful to me. As a first time buyer, I had to feel comfortable with my purchase, and Mat outlined all the things I needed to be mindful of and it helped act as a checklist, of all the things pre and post purchase I needed to consider, including identifying and remediating any major problems, as well as maintaining the property in the future. Highly recommend.

Chris was recommended as a surveyor by the estate agency as I need a level 3 survey on my new purchase (Victorian end of terrace property). Chris rang me and arrange to go to the property within 3 days. I received the report a week later and Chris offered for me to call him to answer any of my questions. It was great to do so as all defects can be overwhelming specially when buying a house for the first time. I recently used Huxley Surveyors to do a survey on a new purchase and they have exceeded all my expectations. I rarely share posts but these guys deserve so much praise. Chris was absolutely amazing.
